Decide on a budget

Make sure you know how much budget you need to set aside for the PC build and keep to it. The budget can easily overshot if you are not careful and get too excited.

Intel and AMD

Choose between Intel and AMD can be a daunting task. Right now if it’s just gaming, it’s hands down AMD’s 7800X3D and 9800X3D.

If you are going for productivity and gaming both Intel and AMD are fine. Just that for 13th and 14th gen remember to update your bios.

Choose performance over RGB

Yes RGB in a custom pc build will make the entire pc looks even better! But looks are subjective. For me, when I recommend build for my customers, I will always go with non rgb first because that will help to gain more performance base on the dollar spent.

Choosing motherboard

Technically there’s no such thing as best motherboard. Choosing a motherboard needs to look at the tier of the motherboard. And also the features of the motherboard. You can list down the number of USB ports you need right now. Do you need high speed file transfer. All these can help you make a more informed decision.

Personalised Build

Sometimes, you are just too busy to research or build a PC. And that’s totally fine. You can consider engaging someone to help you. Which I do offer such personalised custom pc service. I don’t just throw you a few template list. My requirement is that I need to know what your usages are and propose a build that’s for you only. And you need to understand what and why you are buying.
