  1. Enable Variable Refresh Rate (VRR).
    Turn on G-Sync or FreeSync in both your monitor’s on-screen menu and your graphics driver. VRR lets the screen match the game’s frame delivery to reduce tearing and judder.
  2. Set a sensible Frames-Per-Second (FPS) cap just under your monitor’s refresh rate.
    Capping 2–3 FPS below the panel’s refresh keeps you inside the VRR range and avoids hitting the exact ceiling, which can trigger vertical-sync behaviour and add latency or micro-stutter.
