PC Upgrade & Trade-In Singapore

Got an old PC collecting dust, or one that’s starting to struggle with new games and software? You don’t always need to throw it out and start from zero. I can help you either trade it in towards a new custom build, or work out which parts are worth keeping so you only pay for what actually needs upgrading.

Trade in your old PC: up to S$500 off

Trade in your old PC and use its value to offset your new build. Based on the specs and condition, trade-in values are typically S$200 to S$500, depending on what you have.

How the trade-in works

  1. WhatsApp me your current build. Send the CPU, GPU, RAM and storage. Photos help too. The more detail, the more accurate my quote.
  2. I give you an honest quote. No low-balling, no runaround. I usually reply the same day.
  3. You decide, no pressure. The quote is obligation-free. If it makes sense, we apply it to your new build. If not, no hard feelings.
  4. Offset your new build. That S$200–S$500 can go towards a better GPU or more RAM, or just lower your total spend.

Upgrade instead: reuse what’s still good

Sometimes your PC doesn’t need replacing, just the right upgrade. Tell me what you currently have and I’ll advise which parts are worth keeping and which to replace. It’s a good way to bring down your total spend without sacrificing performance where it counts. One client wrote in their Google review that I helped them think through reusing parts from their old PC, and that’s exactly the kind of conversation I like having.

Common upgrades worth considering

  • GPU: usually the biggest jump for gaming, especially if you’ve moved to a 1440p or 4K monitor.
  • RAM: 32GB is the comfortable norm for modern gaming with background apps.
  • Storage: moving to a fast NVMe SSD cuts load times.
  • Cooling: Singapore’s heat is hard on PCs, and better cooling can bring down temperatures and noise.
  • Power supply: a new GPU often needs a quality PSU with enough headroom.

I’ll be honest if an older platform isn’t worth upgrading anymore. In that case a trade-in plus a new build usually makes more sense. Custom builds use standard parts, so future upgrades stay straightforward. See my custom gaming PC page for current build tiers and my custom PC price guide for budgets.

Before you hand over your PC

Please back up anything important and let me know how you’d like your data handled before the trade-in. We’ll agree on this when we confirm the trade-in.
